Job Description: Senior Manager Account Manager – TikTok Ads Company: InMobi Function: Account Management / Client Services As part of our TikTok business, we work with advertisers and ecosystem partners to help businesses scale their advertising investments on TikTok through effective campaign execution, performance optimization, and strategic account management. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced, performance-driven Account Manager with a strong understanding of digital advertising and hands-on familiarity with TikTok Ads. The ideal candidate will manage advertiser relationships, drive campaign performance, identify opportunities for account growth, and ensure a high standard of client service. This role requires a combination of platform expertise, analytical thinking, client relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple accounts, solving problems independently, and translating client objectives into effective advertising strategies. Key Responsibilities • Account Management & Client Relationships • Own day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of advertisers, ensuring strong engagement, timely communication, and high client satisfaction. • Understand client business objectives, marketing priorities, target audiences, and performance expectations. • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic recommendations to improve campaign outcomes and grow advertising investments. • Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through increased budgets, new campaign objectives, additional products, and new market opportunities. • Manage client escalations effectively and ensure timely resolution of issues. • TikTok Ads & Campaign Performance • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the TikTok Ads platform, including campaign setup, targeting, bidding, budgets, creatives, optimization, measurement, and reporting. • Monitor campaign performance against KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, CVR, CPM, and other relevant business metrics. • Analyse campaign data to identify performance trends, optimization opportunities, and potential risks. • Recommend actionable improvements across campaign structure, audience targeting, bidding strategies, creative performance, and budget allocation. • Stay updated on TikTok Ads features, product releases, platform policies, and best practices. • Support advertisers in troubleshooting campaign delivery, tracking, attribution, and performance-related challenges. • Business Growth & Revenue Ownership • Drive account growth by identifying opportunities to increase advertiser investment and improve campaign effectiveness. • Develop account plans aligned with client objectives, revenue targets, and business priorities. • Maintain visibility into account-level performance, revenue forecasts, growth opportunities, and potential risks. • Work closely with sales teams to support client acquisition, onboarding, account expansion, and retention. • Contribute to business reviews, quarterly planning, and revenue-growth initiatives. • Data, Insights & Reporting • Prepare and present regular campaign performance reports, business reviews, and actionable insights. • Translate complex campaign data into clear recommendations that clients and internal stakeholders can understand. • Use data to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and make evidence-based decisions. • Maintain accurate account documentation, campaign records, forecasts, and performance trackers. • Cross-functional Collaboration • Work closely with sales, campaign operations, product, engineering, analytics, finance, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless advertiser experience. • Coordinate campaign launches, platform integrations, tracking requirements, billing queries, and operational dependencies. • Represent the voice of the customer internally and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve recurring issues and improve processes. • Share client feedback, market intelligence, and platform-level insights to support product adoption and business strategy. • Process Excellence & Ownership • Manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail. • Take end-to-end ownership of client issues, following through until resolution rather than relying solely on escalations. • Identify process gaps and recommend scalable improvements to increase operational efficiency and client satisfaction. • Operate with accountability, urgency, and a solutions-oriented mindset in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Required Qualifications & Experience • Minimum 10 years of experience in account management, client services, or campaign management within digital advertising, adtech, performance marketing, or a digital media platform. • Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads Manager and a practical understanding of how the platform operates. • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns and interpreting performance metrics such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, CVR, and CPM. • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, solve problems, and identify opportunities for account growth. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate campaign data into actionable recommendations. • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and experience preparing client-facing reports and presentations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights confidently to clients and senior stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and competing priorities independently. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with performance-driven advertisers, particularly in e-commerce, mobile applications, gaming, lead generation, or other digital-first businesses. • Experience with TikTok Pixel, Events API, conversion tracking, attribution, and measurement solutions. • Familiarity with other major advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, or Microsoft Advertising. • Experience in an agency, adtech, media platform, or channel-partner environment. • Exposure to international advertisers, multiple geographies, or cross-border digital advertising. • Experience collaborating with sales teams to drive advertiser adoption, retention, and revenue growth. What Makes You Successful in This Role? • Client-first mindset: You build trust, understand business needs, and focus on delivering measurable value. • Platform curiosity: You understand TikTok Ads beyond the basics and actively keep up with changes in the platform. • Analytical thinking: You use data to diagnose problems and recommend practical solutions. • Commercial orientation: You recognise opportunities to grow accounts while protecting client outcomes and long-term relationships. • Ownership and accountability: You take responsibility for outcomes and follow through on commitments. • Collaboration: You work effectively across teams, communicate clearly, and help others succeed. • Adaptability: You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, learning quickly, and working in a fast-moving environment. • Integrity and professionalism: You communicate transparently, manage expectations responsibly, and build relationships based on trust. Why Join InMobi? Join a global adtech business at the intersection of digital advertising, performance marketing, and platform partnerships. You will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in TikTok advertising, work with a diverse set of advertisers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute directly to client success and business growth. Since 2007, InMobi has built the extraordinary. Beyond just technology. It has built a way of working. Across 16 offices globally, through every pivot and breakthrough, one thing has remained constant: we are builders, dreamers, doers. We are fluid enough to move fast, grounded enough to own outcomes, and human enough to care deeply about the work and about one another. Culture is at the core of that ethos. It has been co-created by the people who built this company and by those continuing to shape it every day. It lives in how we work, how decisions are made, how teams show up for one another, and how seriously we take the responsibility to build the best. This is a place where ambition and belonging occupy the same space. Where the bar is high and the support is real. Where freedom comes with trust, and trust comes with accountability. Where you are valued not only for what you do, but for the perspective, judgment and humanity you bring to the work. Where you will be challenged by the work and supported by the communities, passions and experiences that shape who you are beyond your role.
