Your work. Your data.
This notice explains how Karyvia and Karyvia Career Capture use information to help you find, compare and track jobs.
Information you choose to provide
Signing in with Google or GitHub provides the account information needed to identify you, including your email and provider identifier. The service stores your profile, uploaded resumes, connected source references, reviewed career evidence, application notes and reminders when you use those features. Original resumes are stored privately.
What the Chrome extension reads
Capture runs when you click it. It reads the current job page URL and your selected text, or the page text used to prepare a job description. You can review and edit that text before sending it to your chosen Karyvia workspace. Analyze, verify, track and tailor actions transmit the reviewed job information to that workspace. The extension does not collect your browsing history in the background, read passwords or copy sign-in cookies.
Browser storage and permissions
Your workspace address is saved in extension local storage. A temporary job draft and connection-tab reference use browser session storage, which clears when the browser session ends or when you choose Disconnect & clear. Career comparison results stay in the popup’s memory. Optional host access is requested for your selected workspace so a connection tab can use your ordinary signed-in session; the extension does not collect cookies.
Hosting and sharing
The website runs on Vercel. Supabase stores the application database and private original documents. Authorized collection and processing workers may run on the operator’s computer. Data is used to provide the features you request; Karyvia does not sell user data or use extension data for advertising. AI and paid web-search integrations are disabled in this beta.
Retention and your controls
Workspace records remain in the service until removed through the available feature controls or a deletion request is fulfilled. Disconnecting the extension clears its temporary draft and host permission; it does not delete your Karyvia account or server records. Removing the extension clears its browser storage. Avoid capturing page text that contains personal information you do not want to send.
