We invite you to apply today! 👋 HI, I'M ASHLYN, MANAGER OF HIRING & INTERNAL MOBILITY AT SIMSPACE! At SimSpace, we believe hiring is more than filling roles. It's about building relationships, creating exceptional experiences, and helping people and teams grow thoughtfully. I'm looking for a Senior Hiring & Internal Mobility Partner to join my team and help us deliver a thoughtful, responsive, and high-quality hiring experience across our global organization. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys recruiting, takes pride in delivering a white-glove candidate and hiring manager experience, and knows how to balance quality, speed, and thoughtful execution in an environment where priorities and business needs can evolve quickly. We're looking for someone with a strong recruiting foundation, sound judgment, and a flexible mindset. Someone who can confidently manage their own searches, build trusted relationships, and adapt when circumstances change without losing sight of the details that matter. A quick note about this job description: You'll notice it's a little more detailed than most, and that's intentional! I believe hiring should be a two-way conversation, and I want you to have a clear picture of the role, our team, and what success looks like before you decide whether it's the right opportunity for you. If you enjoy connecting people with opportunities, working across different teams, and finding thoughtful, practical ways to keep things moving, I'd love to meet you! ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Hiring & Internal Mobility Partner, you'll independently manage full lifecycle recruiting across a variety of technical and nontechnical functions, including R&D, Product, Go-to-Market, G&A, and Professional Services. While much of our anticipated hiring will be Engineering-focused, our team's priorities evolve with the needs of the business. We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in technical recruiting who is equally willing and able to support searches across other functions. You'll serve as the primary hiring partner for your assigned requisitions, guiding hiring managers and candidates through each stage of the process, from intake and sourcing through interviews, selection, and offer. Some searches will involve direct sourcing and pipeline development, while others will be supported by external recruiting agencies. Regardless of how candidates enter the process, you'll maintain ownership of their experience and progression through the hiring process. You'll also support onboarding, orientation, and internal mobility activities, helping create a positive and connected experience for both new and existing SimSpacers. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role with a strong emphasis on white-glove service, responsiveness, relationship management, and operational excellence. You'll be trusted to manage your workload independently, advise hiring managers, navigate competing priorities, and deliver a personalized, high-quality experience for candidates and stakeholders. We believe great hiring requires both urgency and intention. You'll need to recognize when speed matters, move processes forward efficiently, and make thoughtful decisions about where additional time and attention are warranted. The goal isn't simply to fill roles quickly, but to create a hiring experience that's efficient, thorough, and respectful of everyone's time. Flexibility and adaptability are especially important in this role. As our business continues to evolve, hiring priorities, team needs, and processes may change. You'll need to be comfortable adjusting course, learning as you go, and maintaining momentum even when the original plan shifts. We're not looking for someone who has every answer or needs everything to be perfectly defined. We're looking for someone who approaches change with curiosity, communicates openly, exercises good judgment, and works collaboratively to figure out the best path forward. This position requires consistent availability during Eastern Time (ET) business hours to support collaboration across our distributed organization. AS A SENIOR HIRING PARTNER, YOU'LL: OWN FULL LIFECYCLE RECRUITING & HIRING PARTNERSHIPS - Independently manage full lifecycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, from hiring manager intake through offer acceptance. - Support hiring across technical and nontechnical functions, with an anticipated emphasis on Engineering roles. - Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, align on role requirements, establish interview processes, and develop practical hiring plans. - Source, engage, screen, and assess candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach. - Conduct thoughtful candidate interviews to evaluate experience, qualifications, motivations, and alignment with role requirements. - Manage agency-supported searches as needed, including interviewing submitted candidates, coordinating feedback, and maintaining ownership of the hiring process and candidate experience. - Manage candidate pipelines, interview progression, feedback collection, and next steps to keep hiring processes moving. - Adapt recruiting approaches and priorities as business needs, hiring plans, and role requirements evolve. - Provide thoughtful guidance to hiring managers on candidate evaluation, hiring decisions, and process challenges. - Support structured, equitable, and consistent hiring practices across teams and geographies. DELIVER A WHITE-GLOVE CANDIDATE & HIRING MANAGER EXPERIENCE - Deliver a personalized, high-touch hiring experience that makes candidates and hiring managers feel informed, supported, and valued throughout the process. - Serve as a reliable, accessible, and responsive point of contact, anticipating communication needs and ensuring stakeholders understand progress, expectations, and next steps. - Balance speed and quality by moving hiring processes forward with appropriate urgency while maintaining thoughtful candidate assessments and consistent hiring standards. - Build trusted relationships through attentiveness, follow-through, professionalism, transparency, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed. - Identify and address scheduling challenges, process delays, and communication gaps before they negatively impact the hiring experience. - Recognize when a situation calls for quick action versus additional consideration, collaboration, or escalation. - Navigate sensitive conversations, unexpected changes, and competing priorities with empathy, discretion, and sound judgment. - Collaborate with interviewers, People Operations, and other partners to ensure a coordinated, seamless hiring experience. - Support onboarding, orientation, and internal mobility activities as needed. WHAT YOU BRING - Ability to consistently work Eastern Time (ET) business hours. - Strong full lifecycle recruiting experience, including experience supporting technical or Engineering searches. - Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple requisitions from intake through offer acceptance. - Experience partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements, evaluate candidates, and navigate hiring decisions. - Ability to recruit across different functions or quickly develop familiarity with new roles, skill sets, and candidate markets. - Demonstrated adaptability in environments with evolving priorities, changing business needs, or shifting hiring plans. - Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and direct outreach. - Strong candidate interviewing and assessment skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to responsiveness, professionalism, and candidate care. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. - Sound judgment and the ability to navigate sensitive or challenging situations independently. - Comfort working within applicant tracking systems and using recruiting data to manage pipelines, communicate progress, and maintain accurate records. - Comfort using AI-enabled tools, or a willingness to learn, to support everyday recruiting activities while maintaining sound judgment, accuracy, and a human-centered candidate experience. - Experience recruiting within cybersecurity is a plus. - Experience with Ashby is strongly preferred. YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF: 🤝 You believe in white-glove service. You take pride in creating an exceptional experience for the people you support. You understand that hiring timelines matter and know how to keep things moving without sacrificing quality. You can distinguish between what needs to happen quickly, what deserves deeper consideration, and where unnecessary complexity may be slowing things down. 🔄 You're adaptable and comfortable with change. You understand that business priorities can shift, sometimes quickly. You're able to adjust your plans, remain open to new approaches, and move forward constructively when things don't go as expected. 🎯 You take ownership of your work. You're comfortable independently managing requisitions, organizing competing priorities, and being accountable for outcomes. 🔍 You're a versatile recruiter. You have a strong recruiting foundation, including experience with technical roles, and you're comfortable learning about new functions, teams, and candidate markets. 💬 You're a thoughtful communicator. You keep people informed, adapt your communication to different audiences, and handle difficult or sensitive conversations with professionalism and care. ⚖️ You have strong judgment.
